Google and Infineon power radar gesture overhaul for wearables

At Google’s I/O developer conference, a smartwatch that supports radar-based gesture control was unveiled, which might solve one of the most frustrating elements of today’s wearables. With Infineon providing the radar technology, the gesture control could remove the clunky hindrance of navigating menus on tiny displays, or waiting for a cloud-response to a voice query.

With a technology like this, smartwatches could become a whole lot more viable as standalone devices, as they would have a more capable means of entering data into the menus, and quickly finding the desired apps or folders.
